Coaching Startups for GSMA
GSMA (formerly: GSM Association) is a global organization that connects providers and other stakeholders in the mobile communications sector (https://www.gsma.com/). betterSoil supported GSMA as part of the “Innovation Fund for Climate Resilience and Adaptation 2.0.” The Innovation Fund helps startups in the Global South successfully implement their business ideas at the intersection of digital innovation and climate change.
GSMA recognized that some of the funded startups in Africa and Asia needed support in soil improvement, scientific insights related to soil, and in strengthening their business models. Together with a partner, betterSoil conducted group coaching sessions, individual one-to-one consulting, and an on-site field visit with a startup in Kenya. Details on how the visit in Kenya unfolded can be found here in our blog. The project ran from February to October 2025.
